Executive Director
Dr. Millner served as a Texas public school teacher for fourteen years before coming to work at DFW AHEC in 1999.
She has served as the Executive Director of the DFW AHEC since 2003.

Jessica Reading, MPH
Program Coordinator, Health Careers Promotion
Jessica has been with DFW Area Health Education Center since January 2006.
She completed her BS in biology from UTA,
and her MPH in epidemiology for UNT Health Science Center in 2006.

Tom Knight
Program Coordinator, Community Based Education; Practice Entry and Support
Prior to joining AHEC in October 2007, Tom served as editor of The Nurses' Lounge and was the publisher of Texas Nursing Student.
He has owned a graphic design firm since 1987 and holds a degree in communications from Stephen F. Austin State University.

Luis Mejia
Program Coordinator, Health Literacy
Luis received his degree in medicine from the University of San Carlos of Guatemala, and has been working in the health care field since 1997. He is in charge of the health literacy program and coordinates a public health program for the Hispanic community.

Mandy Doud

Mandy joined AHEC in January of 2008 and is a coordinator for the Health Careers Promotions programs. She received her degree
in exercise sports sciences from Texas Tech University in 2006.

Cristina Mora
Program Coordinator, Nursing Program; Dr. Emmett J. Conrad Leadership Program
Cristina joined DFW AHEC in March of 2008. She has received a BS degree in microbiology, and more recently,
an MHR degree from the University of Oklahoma in 2008.

Monica joined AHEC in June of 2008 after moving from San Jose, California to complete her nursing degree at TWU.
She began her nursing studies at San Francisco State University and is a native of California.

Community Health Worker
Sayra serves as a community health worker for Ventanilla de Salud, a DFW AHEC health literacy project produced in conjunction
with the Institute for Mexicans Abroad. She has been trained as a medical assistant and is an experienced data manager.
